Sixth Class
On a beautiful summer’s evening our parents and members of the local community came along to celebrate the raising of our Green Flag. Adam and Helena, our former chairperson and secretary of our Green Schools committee, raised the flag to claps and shouts of jubilation.

Green Flag Celebrations
It was a great day of fun activities – sack races, obstacle races, egg and spoon races, three legged races, tug of war, puc fáda. The sun shone as bright as the smiles!

Tug of war and Awards
In June, we had our school tour. As this year is the 125th anniversary of the GAA, we went to visit the Michael Cusack centre. We also visited the Burren, a dolmen and the Cliffs of Moher. Then we went for a swim at the swimming pool at Lehinch. What a great day!

School tour
It was great fun to take part in the soccer tournament. Well done to the girls who were runners up!

Great result girls!
We took part in the Hurling Blitz in June and even though we won some matches we didn’t qualify for the final this year. Better luck next year!
